Loosen and remove the 2 screws on the outside casing and remove the old door. Loosen the dead binder in the face of the doorway, or the component that holds the door latch and can be broken to the door itself. Remove the screws and then pull it out. Set the newest dead latch in the face of the doorway in the current hole. Put both door knob segments to the doorway; they'll fit together in just 1 way. In addition they must experience the middle of this dead-latch. Set the screws to the door knob segments. Tighten the screws in alternating fashion to earn the door knob sink up equally. Screw from the plate on the face of the doorway to guarantee the dead latch.
